Legein’s most known for being the kid that, when faced with making the jump from the OHL to the AHL, instead chose to walk away from the game, having burn out at barely 20. Since then, and thankfully, for many of us who are fans of the Oakville forward’s in your face, tear your helmet from your head (as exhibited below) style of play, Legein has returned to the game, and now graces Syracuse, Columbus and a town near you with his wickedly quick sense of humor.

Three of my favourite moments of Stefan Legein.

1. Vintage Gino Reda.  Legein, resplendent with stick tape mustache interviews a very young and awkward 17 year old Jonathan Tavares, and amongst other things calls him a liar in hilariously honest fashion.

2.I’m pretty sure TSN and James Cybulski have a little bit of a man crush on Stefan, as exhibited by this entire video they made on just how funny they find him.

3. Who is going to hang a cigar out of their mouth, wave a gold medal and make out with the side of a tv presenters (of the same genders) face on national television, all the while covered in shaving cream? Stefan Legein that’s who.
